Barcelona secured their eighth victory in nine matches in La Liga on Saturday night as they defeated Malaga 2-0 at Camp Nou.
Gerard Deulofeu and Andres Iniesta’s strikes helped the Catalans keep their distance to eight points with the second placed Valencia.
However, Luis Suarez once again was in the center of attention but for all the wrong reasons.
He reacted with frustration to being substituted seven minutes before full time.
The Uruguayan striker missed a good chance earlier during the match and once again failed to get on the scoresheet, having scored only one goal in five club appearances.
However, Valverde isn’t concerned by his reaction and the striker’s poor form.
“Suarez is ambitious and no one likes to be substituted,” Valverde said at his post-match press conference.
“Everybody wants to be an undisputed starter every time. I do not see any problem.
“It was the third game he has played in six days, and he is getting chances, which is the main thing for a striker.”
