Bad news for Chelsea as they face a nightmare run of fixture after drawn against Barcelona in CL

Chelsea have been drawn against Barcelona in the Champions League and face a nightmare three weks in the New Year.

The Blues will face the Catalans in the knockout phase of the competition with a two-legged clash, while they also face Manchester City and Manchester United in between.

Antonio Conte’s men are the only English team from the five ones to finish second in their group, and they were punished hard for that being tied against Barcelona.

Eden Hazard said last week that he wouldn’t have a problem in facing the likes of Barca, but it’s no doubt his side are up against maybe the toughest opponent of the competition.

The Blues host the Blaugrana at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, February 20, before facing Manchester United that weekend.

With a potential FA Cup replay in that midweek, they’ll then follow that up with a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City on the weekend of March 3.

On March 10 comes a match against Crystal Palace before the second leg clash with Barca. //Actuantes//
