Atletico Madrid have finally confirmed the return of Diego Costa, who completed a 67million pounds move from Chelsea.
The Spanish striker signed a pre-agreement with his former side back in September after a number of missunderstandings with manager Antonio Conte.
The Spanish international forward has regularly been pictured in training with Atletico, but was unable to play for the club as his signing came outside of the transfer window.
Costa scored 64 goals in 135 games for Chelsea during his three and a half years spent at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old will wear the No. 18 shirt for the Wanda Metropolitano side.
Atleti have also been under a transfer ban for the last two windows after being found guilty of breaching rules over the signing of young players, but that ban comes to an end on January 1. //Actuantes//
