Paris Saint-Germain rocked the football world in the summer when they splashed £198 million to make Neymar the most expensive player in history.
The ex-Barcelona man has been outstanding this season, registering 28 goals and 16 assists in just 30 matches in all competitions, but things have taken a turn for the worse lately.
Neymar suffered a nasty foot injury in PSG’s 3-0 league win over Marseille last month and consequently missed their 2-1 second-leg defeat at the hands of Real Madrid last Tuesday.

Being knocked out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 is a major disappointment for Neymar, who has undergone surgery and is set to miss the rest of the 2017-18 campaign.
Over the past month or so, several reports have suggested that Neymar isn’t happy at PSG and would even be interested in joining Barca’s biggest rivals Real this summer.
WHAT PARIS OWNERS WILL DO THIS WEEK
Due to the fears they have over Neymar’s future, the Ligue 1 leaders are flying two key officials out to Brazil this week so that talks can be held with the 26-year-old superstar.
Marca have reported that club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique are both going to visit Neymar, currently recovering in his homeland, over the coming days.
In addition to checking on his physical condition, Al-Khelaifi and Henrique want to find out if the Brazilian really intends to see out the contract he signed with PSG – which runs until 2022.
