Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told two stars they can leave Old Trafford at the end of this season.
According to English publication The Sun, Italy international Matteo Darmian and Dutchman Daley Blind have been told by the former Chelsea boss that they are free to leave the club if they are in search of regular game time.
The report suggests the pair did not take part in the team’s promotional photoshoots for next season’s playing kit, proving that Mourinho does not see them as part of his plans for the upcoming campaign.
The Portuguese tactician is apparently keen on offloading both players in the coming months so that he can make room for two new defenders in the next transfer window.
It is said that the Red Devil’s value each full-back at £15 million (R256 million) and there are rumours circulating that two Serie A clubs are interested in the two players’ services.
The report suggests that Blind is apparently being closely watched by UEFA Champions League semi-finalists Roma, while Darmian is said to be in early negotiations with Juventus.
Mourinho has reportedly been keeping a close eye on the likes of Alex Sandro, Ryan Sessegnon and Danny Rose over the past few months but there is no clear indication on whether he will put in a formal bid for any of them.
