Six-year old football and Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery has passed away tragically after losing battle with cancer.
Lowery earned the simpathy of football fans and beyond after he fought brave the decease of neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer that attacks mainly babies and young children.
A statement on his Facebook page read today: “He was our little superhero and put the biggest fight up but he was needed else where.
“There are no words to describe how heart broken we are. Thank you everyone for all your support and kind words.
“Sleep tight baby boy and fly high with them angels.”
Bradley also was best friend with now Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe, who yesterday couldn’t hold his tears after being asked about the youngster. //Actuant4es//
