Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly looking at bringing in a former FC Barcelona transfer target, should Robert Lewandowski decide to leave the club.
The Poland international has been linked with a move away from the German giants in recent months, and there are claims that he could be on his way to Real Madrid, where he could replace either Karim Benzema or Gareth Bale.
According to Bild, the Bavarian club is concerned that Lewandowski is already planning his move to the Spanish capital, with super-agent Pini Zahavi supposedly looking after the deal.
Should the Polish star leave at the end of this campaign, the reports suggest that Bayern could turn their attention to Juventus and Argentine international Paulo Dybala.
The German club is hopeful that the signing of the 24-year-old will ease the pain of losing Lewandowski, and also excite their supporters, who will not be happy with the thought of selling their main striker to a Champions League rival.
The former Palermo striker has been seen as one of football’s brightest talents in recent years, and to back up these claims, he has managed to net 21 goals in 30 Serie A games this season.
Dybala has often been compared to the likes of his countryman Lionel Messi, and this has seen him linked with the Blaugrana on a few occasions in his career.
