Brazil coach Tite has responded to reports claiming that he has been contacted by Real Madrid to replace Zinedine Zidane.
Los Blancos are one the lookout for a new coach, following Zidane’s shock decision to leave last month despite having one year left on his contract.
One of the coach linked with the job, Tite has come out and denied claims that he has been contacted by the UEFA Champions League winners.
“When it is an opinion, it deserves my respect.
“When it is put in quotation marks, it is a lie; it is a disrespectful and lying attitude. That’s my word,” Tite told the media, according to FourFourTwo.
“I did not get in touch with anyone. Gilmar Veloz [Tite’s agent], my friend, did not speak to anyone.
“I have a great respect for where I am. I know the responsibilities and the goals I have here.”
