A Brazilian star, who represented the Selecao at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, has reportedly agreed terms on a move to Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
The Catalan club is said to be looking to bring in a few reinforcements ahead of next season, following their poor UEFA Champions League campaign.
Chelsea winger Willian is said to be on the club’s radar, and according to The Transfer Window Podcast’s Ian McGarry, as cited by Daily Star, the player and Barca have agreed terms.
The report claims that Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have complained that there is a lack of creativity down the right side of attack at Barca, and that Willian has been identified as the solution to those problems.
The 29-year-old is also unhappy that Chelsea will not play in Europe’s biggest club competition in the 2018/19 campaign.
With the Brazilian and the Blaugrana reaching an agreement, it is now just for the two clubs to reach an accord before the player officially becomes a Barca player.
Willian has recently commented on the transfer rumours, but since he was on international duty with Brazil, he refused to go into detail on his future.
