Spanish giants FC Barcelona have not given up on signing Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba, according to reports coming out of Spain.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club is prepared to wait for the France International, but know they will need to offer a lot of money when they do eventually bid for him as there is no buyout clause in his contract.
There has been speculation that Pogba wants to leave the English giants because he and manager Jose Mourinho do not see eye to eye on a number of things.
The midfielder’s agent, Mino Raiola, is also not happy with how the Portuguese tactician has treated his client, and is looking for ways to get the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner out of Old Trafford.
United have made it clear they are not interested in selling Pogba, however, and as long as the player shows no signs of being unhappy, they will not consider any bid for him.
Barcelona have until 31 August to buy players, but understand that, with the Premier League transfer window now closed, they will probably need to wait longer to try to negotiate for Pogba.
The 25-year-old has made 95 appearances for the Red Devils since returning to the club in 2016, scoring 15 goals and assisting a further 18 strikes.
