Olivier Giroud might find it very difficult to play regular next season in Arsenal’s starting line-up.
Not because he has droped in form, but because The Gunners have completed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette this summer for a club record sum, and it’s highly unlikely for Giroud to play ahead of his compatriot in the starting line-up.
Giroud himself admitted that he could leave Emirates before the new season kicks-off.
“It (leaving) is an option to be honest with you,” he said.
And now, The Mirror are reporting that Borussia Dortmund are ready to make move for the striker.
Dortmund’s top forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to leave this summer, and recently Chelsea have been reportedly the possible destination of the Gabon international.
And according to John Cross from The Mirror, Dortmund are considering Giroud as the possible replacement for Aubameyang. //Actuantes//
