Liverpool and Southampton have opened negotiations about a deal for highly rated defender Virgil Van Dijk, according to a former Liverpool lawyer.
Liverpool were forced to apologize to Southampton for tapping ilegally the defender, with the Saints saying that they will take the case further.
But now, according to France based lawyer Daniel Vanderkamp, the two clubs are back in negotiations for the Dutch defender.
He tweeted: “Got told things are moving along now with LFC and Southampton.
“I don’t know if he’s handed in a request, just that the clubs are back negotiating.
The tweets come after ex-Reds midfielder Danny Murphy claimed a deal between the two clubs was “close”. //Actuantes//
