Hamilton ties all-time record after dominating British Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton triumphed in his home race.

The Brit and his team Mercedes dominated the race for the Big Price of England, thanks to some mistakes made by Ferrari.

After Hamilton, second who finished the race was Valteri Bottas, who had a very aggressive display, but thanks to Ferrari mistakes, he managed to put Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen behind.

However, Hamilton equalled the tally of Scot Jim Clark and Alain Prost with four home wins in a row.

With this victory, Hamilton cuts the deficit to Vettel to just one point, with the German who suffered a front-tyre failure, finishing the race the seventh.

After the podium celebrations, Hamilton said: “The support has been incredible this weekend.

“I am so proud I could do this for you all. Now the plan is to win the championship.” //Actuantes//
