Alvaro Morata is set to join the rest of the Chelsea team in Singapore next week, but first he has to complete his 80million euros signing, after completing medical.
The Spain international is already in London and fans are excited to know when he will make his debut in the Chelsea shirt.
The Blues will meet with Arsenal on Saturday in Beijing, a game in which Morata will not be able to play.
But he will be ready three days later when the team travels to Singapore to come against Bayern Munich.
Chelsea will play the last friendly game against Inter Milan next Saturday, before meeting again with the Gunners for the Community Shield match on August 12.
However, Morata himself is excited for the new challenge with Chelsea and working with Antonio Conte.
“Conte is the manager who most ‘bet’ on me, without even ever having had me in his team,” Morata told the Guardian in April.
“I’m very conscious of that: he bet on me for Juventus but left before I arrived; then he wanted me at Chelsea come what may. He knows me better than I could imagine, I’m sure, and that’s important: it motivates you to work hard, train well.
“I feel indebted to him because he’s the coach that most trusted in me, most wanted me, who made me feel I could perform at the highest level. And yet I’ve never had the fortune to actually work with him. I’m sure sooner or later I will.” //Actuantes//
