Nemanja Matic has aimed a dig at his former club Chelsea after making Manchester Untied debut against Sampdoria.
The Serbia international played 45 minutes in the 2-1 win against the Italians.
He completed his switch to United this summer for 40million pounds, and didn’t hold back on taking a dig at his former club after the first match with the Red Devils.
“They are amazing. I played in a few clubs in my career, but these guys are amazing,” he said.
“It was strange because the team has played and had a good pre-season.
“And as you know I trained alone in London, and it was strange for me, but I tried to give my best to control the game, give the balance and I think for the first game it was good for me.
“And step by step I think I will be better and better and I hope that I will help the team to achieve something this season.” //Actuantes//
