Good news for Liverpool fans is that Philippe Coutinho will not be leaving club this summer at any price.
This was the message of the club’s owners this morning, as they gave Barcelona another blow in the race for their top target.
The Reds owners have become frustrated by constant interes from the Catalan club.
And today they were forced to come out with an announcement making it clear Coutinho isn’t going anywhere.
The statement read: “We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho.
“The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.”
Chairman Tom Werner and principle owner John Henry have made it clear that even if Barca offer the whole 222million euros received from the sale of Neymar to PSG for their player – Coutinho will not be allowed to leave. //Actuantes//
