Manchester City are set to make a huge offer for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez before the transfer window closes on August 31, according to the Mirror.
The outlet suggests that the Citizens will make a bid that will exess the fee of 50million pounds, with Pep Guardiola still believing he can land the Chile international.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted they will keep Sanchez for another season, with the player’s contract set to expire next summer.
However, the Gunners have still not given up on their tentatives to make him sign a new deal.
But City are not planning to fall back as they want to seal a deal for him this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Chelsea that were reportedly interested, but now City are the club who want him most.
Pep Guardiola believes the signing of Sanchez would have a huge impact on his team, as he’s set to fight for the Premier League title this season.
But to do that, the former Barca manager knows he needs more fire power despite having the likes of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.
City have already spent 220million pounds on new signings this summer, but are willing to spent even more before the transfer window shuts. //Actuantes//
