Cristiano Ronaldo “could quit Real Madrid next week” as he’s still angry, PL giant on red alert

Manchester United are reportedly on red alert with Cristiano Ronaldo angry and ready to quit Real Madrid next week, according to the Mirror.

The four time Ballon d’Or winner featured in Real Madrid’s youth team against Fiorentina, scoring a brilliant goal in Los Blancos’ 2-1 win in the friendly.

However, reports in Spain are linking him with a move away from Bernabeu next week.

CR7 earlier this summer was linked also with a move away from the club after he wasn’t happy with Real Madrid’s lack of support for the tax frauds allegations against him, but later looked like was set to stay.

But all changed after he was hit with a five-match ban from Spanish Football Federation for pushing the referee during the UEFA Super Cup against Barcelona.

And now El Pais are reporting that the Portugese’s future remains unclear.

A source close to Ronaldo, long linked with a return to Old Trafford, told the paper: “For now, he’s just concentrating on playing.

“He is angry about the five-game ban, but he is working just as hard with the team.

“We’ll see what happens in between now and August 31.”
