Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard were not included in the 24-man Champions League squad of Manchester United.
However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and James Wilson were included for the matches against Basel, Benfica and CSKA Moscow.
The Swedish veteran striker, who recently signed a new one-year deal with the Red Devils, is still recovering from injury and is expected to return to action in January.
But Rashford and Lingard were not included, sparking fear amongst fans they may not take part in the competition until February, when clubs can update their lists of players.
List A can contain a maximum of 25 players, two of whom should be keepers, but there must be no fewer than eight locally-trained players in their squad, reports the Mirror.
List B is for players born after January 1 1996, which must be submitted no later than 24 hours before a match. //Actuantes//
