Jose Mourinho is hugely impressed with Anthony Martial this season, after the former Monaco man found his best form.
The France international wasn’t having the best time under Mourinho and it was thought that the Portugese coach was thinking of offloading him at one point.
Three goals and one assist are his numbers this season, despite making only one Premier League appearance.
He was excellent in 4-1 win against Burton Albion in midweek in the Carabao Cup and has given Mourinho something to think about ahead of chosing the starting lineup for Saturday’s match against Southampton.
“I see a great improvement in the person. In his mood, in his face, in his body language. If you want one word: happiness. I am very pleased with his attitude overall, which means it’s easier [for him] to play well,” said Mou in today’s press conference, via club’s official website.
“He’s a happy guy, he’s working extremely well. If he starts matches, he tries to do well and if he goes on from the bench, even if it is for just 10 minutes, he tries to enjoy it and to give something extra in his time on the pitch.” //Actuantes//
