Huge development emerging: Frank Lampard in talks with surprise club for first job as a coach

Reports suggest that Frank Lampard is in talks to become the manager of League One side Oxford United.

Lampard retired from proffesional football in February of this year and now is expected to replace Michael Appleton after he decided to join Leicester City as assistant manager.

Not long after leaving New York City FC, Lampard admitted that he wants to manage a club in the future.

However, he was spotted in Oxford this afternnon with his wife.

Reports suggest that former England midfielder is good friends with Dave Jones and they have spoken about the possibility of the Chelsea legend joining the club. //Actuantes//
